My name is Alessandro Falanga (Alex to make it easier :-) ), I am years old, son of Luigi and Lynn.

I was born in Italy but raised in England up to the age of seven and then moved back to Pompeii, where I’ve been living ever since.

I’m a licensed tour guide of the Campania Region and love history, archeology and geography.

I specialize in Tours of Pompeii, the place where I used to spend time as a kid, hide as a teenager when I didn’t fancy going to school :-) , and where I now work every single day.

Being a guide in such an environment as Pompeii, where every day you are walking on the same stones where someone else did the same 2000 years ago, makes my profession really a blessed job.

At the same time though, I have the hard duty to explain a City in just a few hours. Well, that will only be possible by sharing with you the same thrill I feel every single time I enter the site.

As I usually say, a good visit of Pompeii should make you leave with more question marks than certainties making you wish to come back as soon as possible and turn you into a guide yourself, into a storyteller willing to share your experience with friends and family!
