What will I see on the tour?

You will definitely be seeing the highlights of the ancient town, such as the Forum, the main temples, the famous houses but also simple though important elements that represent daily life like the baths, theatres and why not bars, bakeries and restaurants.
However, being a private tour, each one is customized at the moment according to your interests, studies or curiosities.

How long does a tour last?

The length of a tour can be found in each description on the homepage.
Nonetheless time is not important to me unless you have a specific travel schedule.
I don’t fit consecutive tours on my agenda so no tour is done in a rush.

Is the tour suitable for children?

I’m aware of the fact that travelling with kids may be a challenge sometimes.
That’s why, as you can see in the homepage, I have created a specific tour for kids, whether they are primary or middle school students.
My aim is to involve them in order to make it thrilling and appealing for them too.
I personally take my kids to the site so I know how to keep them busy in order to not make it stressful for us parents :-)

What if I am late or have any problem in reaching you?

Well, first of all please call me at the emergency number that will be given to you at the moment of the reservation. According on how late you are we will evaluate at the moment. Little delays may not represent a problem but in case you delay is pretty consistent a penalty fee may apply.
As per cancellation policy, a 100% penalty will be applied for cancellations forwarded 48 hours before the tour time and date or in case of NO SHOW.
Nonetheless, still try to contact me and we will mutually try to find a solution if possible.

What if weather is bad?

Rarely a visit of Pompeii can be compromised by weather conditions.
However in case of extreme weather conditions that may not allow a comprehensive and satisfactory visit or especially for safety reasons a 100% refund will be given back.

Can I carry luggage into the site?

No, it’s not possible to carry any bag that exceeds cm 30x30x15.
Visitors can leave their luggage at the free storage at the entrance.

What do I have to bring?

First of all you will need comfortable shoes.
Also, as Pompeii can be very hot especially in summer I would definitely suggest you a hat, sunscreen and plenty water. Though there are many public fountains and a Cafè in the site.
If you are travelling with kids do not forget their passport or ID to get the free ticket for those under 18 years old.

Which is your cancellation policy?

Tours can be canceled with no fee up to 24 hours before the departure time of the tour.
In case of late cancelation a 100% penalty will be applied.
Same conditions apply to entrance tickets purchased with your booking.
